1.

Who We Are

1.1 Green Compare is a leading B2B comparison platform designed to help UK businesses secure better rates for commercial utilities and financial services. Our mission is to provide hassle-free comparison services that promote business growth and sustainability.

1.2 Our registered office is located at Regency House Business Centre, 33 Station Road, Romford, RM3 0BS. You can reach our team at +44 01708 693277 or via email at info@greencompare.co.uk.

2.

Our Service

2.1 Green Compare provides an independent comparison service for business energy (gas and electricity), business funding (loans and finance), and other business essentials.

2.2 We use smart technology to find competitive deals from our panel of trusted UK suppliers. While we strive to provide a comprehensive market view, we do not provide financial advice. Our service is designed to provide you with the information necessary to make an informed choice for your business.

2.3 Our comparison service is free for businesses to use. We may receive a commission from the supplier or lender if you choose to switch or take out a product through our platform.

3.

The Comparison & Switching Process

3.1 To provide an accurate comparison, we require specific details including your business name, postcode, and energy consumption data. By submitting this information, you authorize Green Compare to contact suppliers on your behalf to obtain tailored quotes.

3.2 Once you select a deal, we will manage the switching process for you. This often includes:

Contract Signing: Usually completed via secure digital signature (e.g., DocuSign).

Quality Checks: Ensuring all information meets the supplier's requirements.

Switch Management: Handling the transition between your old and new supplier without disruption to your service.

Please note: Business energy contracts typically do not have a "cooling-off" period. Once a contract is agreed upon, it is legally binding.

4.

Your Responsibilities

4.1 You must ensure that all information provided to Green Compare is accurate and up-to-date. Incorrect data (such as wrong meter details or annual usage) may lead to rejected switches or incorrect billing.

4.2 It is your responsibility to confirm that you are not currently tied into a fixed-term contract with your existing supplier before attempting to switch. Your current supplier may block a switch if you have outstanding debt or are still within a fixed-term period.

5.

Renewals & Ongoing Support

5.1 Green Compare aims to provide long-term support. We may contact you prior to your contract end date to help you find a new competitive deal and avoid expensive "rollover" or "out-of-contract" rates.

6.

Complaints & Feedback

6.1 Your feedback is vital to us. If we have not delivered the standard of service you expected, please contact our Customer Service team at info@greencompare.co.uk. We will investigate and resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
